A Rosé Champagne Experience to Tickle you Pink.

When last did you taste a Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé, a Dom Perignon Rose 2006, a Billecart-Salmon Elizabeth Salmon Brut Rosé 2008 and a Krug Rosé NV next to each other?

You will have this unique opportunity at the next About Wine International Rosé Masterclass. We’ll explore the different techniques in creating rosé champagnes, delve into the history of these significant Grande Marques, take a look at the philosophy that shaped the style of each House, and experience a guided tasting of these incredible wines.

This will be followed by a dinner crafted to complement these gastronomic champagnes, while sipping away at a few other rosé gems from the Champagne region.

Rosé champagne no longer plays second fiddle to its pale stablemate. The discerning wine drinker has at last taken note of this very special category from one of the world’s most prestigious wine regions.  It adds an additional facet to the delicate bubbles, freshness and finesse of champagne. It brings a burst of red-fruit flavours, less acidity and an amazing spectrum of colour to the table. The intention is always to preserve the purity and elegance of the wine while introducing depth of flavour and visual excitement.

Join us for an in-depth look at some of the world’s most iconic wines, their producers and the story behind these compelling wines.
